Zenith opens its doors to the developer community for the Leeds Digital Festival.

Ian Gibson, Zenith's CIO.

Zenith is hosting an event to help digital professionals across the city. The company will share its experience of ‘launching an enterprise-powered start-up’ with a talk from its in-house development team.

The event will include a behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s fastest growing multi-million-pound companies. Zenith is the UK’s largest independent vehicle leasing company, employing over 600 people at its headquarters at Kirkstall Forge.

As part of the Leeds Digital Festival, the company aims to support the developer community by sharing the lessons it has learned when building a robust infrastructure and tips on how they harnessed the power of their tech stack.

Commenting on the event Ian Gibson, chief information officer at Zenith said: “At Zenith, we do things differently. We may be a big business, but we understand that flexible and scalable platform delivery is about thinking lean, innovating and driving forward. We look forward to welcoming people from across the digital community at our HQ at Kirkstall Forge for a pie and a pint on the roof terrace.”

The event will take place on 24 April from 5.30pm at Zenith’s office in the brand new Kirkstall Forge development, one stop on the train from Leeds station. Delegates can register on Eventbrite.

Kirkstall Forge has won a host of awards including The British Council of Offices best UK ‘Commercial Workplace’ and The Property Week inaugural ‘Property Wellbeing’ award. It was also the first commercial building in Yorkshire to be awarded WiredScore Platinum certification by the digital connectivity rating company WiredScore.
