Work begins on a new residential development in Salford

Work has begun on an exciting new residential development on Eccles Old Road in Salford.

Previously land owned by All Hallows Roman Catholic High School, the 4.39 acre site will be transformed by Bellway into an attractive development of 64 high quality new build homes.

Reflecting its position opposite Buile Hill Park, the development will be known as Hilltop Manor and comprise an aesthetically pleasing mix of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, all with garages or off road parking.

A select number of different house types will be available, all of which feature well planned layouts that make maximum use of light and space and have been designed with modern living in mind. Plus, as with every new home from Bellway, properties also benefit from open plan fitted kitchens, contemporary family bathrooms and en suites to the master bedroom.

Sales director at Bellway Homes, Louise Chamberlain, commented: “We’re delighted to start the year with a new development in Salford. Close to Salford Royal Hospital and an easy commute to Manchester city centre, the development is ideally located for hospital workers and those working in both Manchester and Salford city centres. Interest has already exceeded our expectations and we have taken our first seven reservations.”

As part of the planning application and its continual commitment to the communities in which it builds, Bellway Homes is making a number of Section 106 contributions to Salford Council. These include £335,934 towards affordable housing, £362,392 towards education and £209,698 towards open space.

Construction at Hilltop Manor is expected to take around two years. Bellway is currently selling this development from Trinity Point, its other successful residential development in Pendlebury just three miles away, and a three bedroom showhome is due to open late Spring 2018.
