Agency nursing provider Local Care Force is celebrating after its Senior Regional Lead Clinical Nurse, Amelia Greenwood, collected the ‘Frontline Leader’ Award at this years’ Great British Care Awards (GBCA).

This accolade recognises Amelia for her commitment to delivering care and support within her team and her exceptional leadership qualities.

Amelia supports the agency’s workers and was instrumental in creating the businesses award winning Address Your Stress’ and Agency Workers ‘Protect Yourselves Protect Your Patients’ projects to improve wellbeing for her team and service users.

The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and celebrate excellence across the care sector. The 21 award categories pay tribute to healthcare individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.


This win, rounds up a year of exceptional recognition for the leading Agency nursing provider, which includes LCF MD Leanne Silverwood being named Business Woman of the Year at the English Women’s Awards, picking up Nursing Agency of the Year at the Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards and becoming the only agency to ever to be inducted into the Royal Collage of Nursing library of best practice, as the gold standard for agency Nursing.
