Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, is celebrating two of its Site Managers who have been named the best in the country at this years Pride in the Job Awards.
Yorkshire West Site Managers Ricky Booth, who is based at the Ashmeade Park development in Pontefract, and Andy Briddock, who works from the St Oswald’s View site in Methley, were two of the 84 recognised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) for their hard work commitment to their jobs.
The award is the highest accolade a Site Manager can achieve, with 450 winners being chosen from over 16,000 entrants who were judged on consistency, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise and health and safety.
Known as the “Oscars of the housebuilding industry”, the awards recognise the most efficiently run sites across the country, with Barratt Developments’ Site Managers across the country scooping 84 Pride in the Job awards at this years event, more than any other national housebuilder for the 15th year in a row.

These awards come shortly after the announcement of the Housebuilder receiving 5 stars from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction for the tenth year in a row. For Barratt to be awarded 5 Stars means that more than 90% of its customers would be happy to recommend their home to a friend.
