Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, which has the Pembridge Park, Horizons and Belle Vue developments in Doncaster, has been awarded a maximum 5 star rating in the new HBF (Home Builders Federation) customer satisfaction survey 2017.
The new nationwide survey lists the UK’s best housebuilders according to those that have the highest customer recommendation scores. For Barratt Homes to be rated as 5 star means that more than 90% of its customers say they would recommend its homes to a friend. It also means that Barratt Homes now becomes the only major national housebuilder to be accredited as a 5 star builder for eight years in a row.
Barratt Homes Yorkshire East continually puts customers at the heart of everything it does by building high quality homes with great design that create strong communities. Coupled with the focus on looking after customers after they have moved in, it is this that has helped achieve such high customer recommendation scores for Barratt Homes Yorkshire East. The HBF survey is one of the largest customer surveys of its type, with more than 50,000 customers taking part in it.
It was developed to give customers an independent quality rating of the new homes being built across the country, with the star rating a handy guide for customers to quickly see which housebuilders have the highest recommendation scores. Site managers working for Barratt Group won 79 awards for quality workmanship in the 2016 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards. Barratt has won more Pride in the Job awards than any other housebuilder for the last twelve years.

The customer recommendation scores come from building high quality homes and then really looking after our customers once they have moved in. Quality is so important to us and there are over 400 items that are individually checked before the keys to a Barratt home are handed over to a customer. We try to work harder than anyone else when it comes to looking after our customers, and this comes out in the survey’s results.”
