With several residential developments in Bury, Bellway Homes are working alongside Bury Council to deliver much needed, high quality, affordable new build homes across the region.
Bury Council offer a discounted market value scheme called The Affordable Housing Scheme, which has proven popular at Bellway’s two current developments in Bury; Salisbury Fields in Radcliffe and Tudor Grange on Bury and Bolton Road.
At Salisbury Fields, almost 75% of the affordable homes have already sold, leaving only four three bedroom properties available. At Tudor Grange, there are just a small selection of three and four bedroom affordable homes remaining.
Through the Bury Council scheme, eligible purchasers benefit from a 25% discount off the full market price, this is on selected plots only.
To qualify, prospective purchasers must have been living within the Borough of Bury for at least the last six months consecutively, have no current or former rent arrears with the Council or history of anti-social behaviour, and should not already own a residential property.
Applicants have to complete an online application form to register, and if successful, the prospective purchaser must live in the property throughout ownership. It cannot be rented out. The property can be sold at any time, but the resale will be subject to the same process with a continuation of the 25% discount.

We continue to see how popular this particular scheme is at both Salisbury Fields and Tudor Grange, with the affordable properties selling on a regular basis.”
