Catapult PR Makes It Five Awards In November!

Lancashire-based PR consultancy, Catapult PR, has scooped two prestigious CIM Northern Awards, taking its PR and marketing awards tally for November 2017 to five.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing awarded Catapult PR the trophies for Best Business 2 Consumer (B2C) marketing campaign, whilst the PR and marketing agency’s managing director, Jane Hunt, won the Best Consultant Award.

Held at The Monastery in Manchester, the CIM Northern Awards celebrated the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry and the outstanding campaigns from across the region.

Claire Gavin from Pets at Home, who judged the B2C category, said of Catapult PR’s campaign for Northumberland-based Langley Castle, “This took a brave and ambitious approach across a broad range of channels with many innovative and challenging strands to the campaign.”

Paul Skinner, who judged the Consultant category, said “Jane is a talented PR specialist with an eclectic range of client work in the UK and in international markets. Her application demonstrated sound insight, careful planning, colourful creativity, and clear determination. This award is in recognition of the creative flair she evidenced and her entrepreneurial approach to implementing client solutions that achieved exceptional results.”

The double win at the CIM Northern Awards came exactly one week after Catapult PR achieved the same feat at the CIPR PRide Awards, where it won the Best Community Relations and Best Consultant categories. One day earlier, it won the ‘Best Tourism and Leisure Campaign’ award at the Northern Marketing Awards. With another 10 finalist accolades to its name this year, it is not surprising that the enquiries are now flooding in to Catapult PR.

Jane Hunt says: “We have had conversations with various companies wanting results-driven and creative PR over the course of the last week and have also been approached by other marketing agencies, which don’t have a PR or content writing arm and who would like to work with us on campaigns for their clients. Although we now have 29 awards to our name since I founded Catapult PR, we have never had a reaction like that which we have seen this year. I think effective PR and compelling content is becoming more of a priority for businesses.
