Leeds training provider launch new Digital Marketing Apprenticeship

Last week Think Employment launched a brand new apprenticeship that will help bridge the digital skills gap in Leeds.

After more than 12 months of development and employer-based research, Think Employment are ready to deliver a new apprenticeship that will help turn people in the city into digital marketers.

The Level 3 apprenticeship will allow businesses across the city train up someone to manage their website, use social media to attract new customers, nurture leads through email marketing and co-ordinate campaigns.

Think Employment’s Head of Business Development, Chris Stott, is excited about the training provider’s new flagship qualification.

“After 15 years in pre-employment training, we are delighted to be introducing Digital Marketing apprenticeships to our portfolio of qualifications,” Chris said.

“We have taken 12 months in developing this qualification and we are immensely proud of the product we have and the team we have in place to deliver it.”

The team who have devised the apprenticeship (pictured) have decades of digital marketing experience between them and will be on-hand throughout the 18-month programme to impart their wisdom on the students.

During the programme, apprentices will deep-dive into the key areas of digital marketing and work on a series of real-life marketing projects that will bring tangible benefits to the businesses themselves – all with the guidance of digital marketing experts.

Thanks to the government’s commitment to upskilling the UK’s workforce, the most a company would have to pay for this specialist training is £1,250. That’s for 18-months of coaching from digital marketers with a wealth of experience in areas such as Paid Traffic, SEO and Content Marketing.

The training is available to people of any age and even existing members of the city’s workforce with an interest in a career in digital marketing.
