Maggie’s Centre Manchester named Project of the Year at BCI Awards

The Maggie’s Centre in Manchester has won Project of the Year (under £10m) award at the annual British Construction Industry Awards held last night at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Bennett Architectural were delighted to work on this project alongside main contractors Sir Robert McAlpine and architects Foster + Partners.

The centre which was built within the grounds of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester and remains the charity’s biggest site to date.

“We’re delighted to hear that the Maggie’s Centre has won such a prestigious prize at the BCI Awards.


“This is now its 13th award since it was opened in 2016 by her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall. The building itself is an architectural statement and were proud to be part of something so worthwhile.”
