Manchester digital design agency launch venues web framework

Digital design agency Project Simply today launched their web framework PLOT, built exclusively for the venue sector. PLOT offers venues of all sizes the competitive advantage of a high functioning website that uses a modular design system to vastly reduce time to market, and allows venue teams to save administration time and ongoing design and development fees. The first major venue to adopt the PLOT framework is Broadwick Live’s Printworks London Venue, who just launched their new website in time to announce their Autumn/ Winter event series.

Project Simply’s experience in the live event sector has given them the insight to identify key elements for an effective and measurably successful website. This summer the agency went further by conducting the Festival Insights Report that asked up to 150 event organisers what marketing challenges they faced. Organisers overwhelmingly called for an easy-to-use website that was flexible and could be updated without heavy cost implications. They also found the creative process was taking too long but understood a positive online experience was key to connect with their audiences. Project Simply responded to this by developing PLOT, a framework that offers event organisers control of their websites alongside a creative design process.

The team at Project Simply have broken down the main components for the perfect venue website. These individual modules can be easily managed by the venue who can then update content and layouts saving on essential 3rd party costs. A key business requirement for Venues is attracting users and encouraging bookings and so Project Simply invested time and effort into creating a listings and smart filter search which can be tailored to fit the venue’s needs.

Project Simply founder, Christian Hill, said, “The team at Project Simply understand the challenges faced by venue organisers, one being spiralling third party costs. These costs are eating into their overall profits and endangering the future of some venues. We have built a digital solution that puts the venue back in control of the communication they have with gig goers and also reduces their expenditure. At a time when music venues are in decline we are only too happy to help support the entertainment economy. We look forward to helping lots more venues to fulfil their digital potential.”

Bradley Thompson , Broadwick Live said: “It’s been an absolute joy to work alongside Project Simply again. Their ability to understand, interpret and produce was vital to the success of this technical, user experience oriented website. We are always impressed with the way they work and the technology that underpins the Printworks website is absolutely brilliant. As with the festival sites they have delivered, the CMS allows us to administer and update the site with speed and simplicity – we look forward to partnering with them on many future projects.”
