Manchester PA Network Launches Independent Awards with Support of Headline Sponsor UKFast

Last night, The Manchester PA Network, in partnership with Make Events, held the launch of the annual Manchester PA Awards at The Tunnel Club, Manchester City.

Over 80 support professionals representing Manchester’s Business Community came together to learn more about this year’s awards.

This year is a year of change, as the Network introduces not only a new identity but also new categories, a new venue, a new website and new headline sponsor, technology firm UKFast.

Amanda Hargreaves co-founder of the Manchester PA Network said:


“We believe in adapting and changing so we continue to deliver the best awards in the region. This year will be the first time we have run the awards independently and we look forward to introducing our new look as well as exciting new categories such as, the Social Media Champion and Fundraiser of the Year The Awards will also be opening up a category to outside Manchester and announced the External PA Network award.

“The high standard of entries is testament to the fantastic talent we have in the region and these awards are about celebrating these achievements and thanking these individuals for all their dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism over the year.”

UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones said:

“PAs and EAs play an incredibly important role in any business and are often the unsung heroes, so it’s fantastic to be able to pay tribute to them and the work they do.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating success and helping to shine a light on the leading talent.”

The 2018 Manchester PA Awards will take place on Thursday November 1st, at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club. The awards seek to celebrate and reward the incredible talent of PAs, EAs, VAs and support professionals across the Manchester business community.

Now run independently by the Manchester PA Network alongside event partner Make Events the awards will be run on a not-for-profit basis, with all sponsorship funds contributing to making the awards a night to remember.

Entries will open on Monday 26th February and entrants can be nominated for the following 13 categories:

  • Team of the Year
  • Brand Ambassador Award
  • Rising Star Award

  • External PA Network Award
  • Social Media Champion Award
