New faces and a new place for Noir Agency

Manchester and London based branding agency Noir have outgrown their second Manchester office in just 17 months and taken a 1,200 sq ft office in Ancoats’ Beehive Mill – more than double the size of their previous office. Collaborating with interior designer Jolie Studios and Urban Splash, Noir have shunned the bean bags and created a sophisticated NY loft apartment style studio in the old Sankey’s building.

Alex Mellor, COO of Noir, said,

“We are excited to have topped off an incredible first 17 months by winning some major contracts and moving into our new office, a space that we can enjoy and that truly reflects the personality of each member of our team. We have some ambitious growth plans and this is just the first stage of our exciting journey.”

The studio move comes off the back of a growing team, future plans and multiple recent client wins. Most notably, Noir have been working with twice ranked Fast Track 100, global financial services firm, JDX supporting the business with a forward-facing brand strategy, including a visual identity refresh and updated brand guidelines. The refreshed identity is being rolled out across their worldwide collateral as well as the brand new flagship London office and New York office. The brand update comes at a crucial time for the business, who have this month consolidated its subsidiaries to form JDX. The brand refresh had a number of key objectives to meet based on the restructure which is aimed at simplifying the global operating model, providing greater value to clients and stronger organisational alignment for its people.

Ryan Baccus, Head of Group Strategy at JDX, said,

“Noir has been a great partner for JDX, bringing their smart design thinking to help us accelerate our growth. We look forward to our continued work together.”

Noir have also been shortlisted for the first time as best Digital Agency (Under 10 employees) at this year’s Prolific North Awards.
