Pareto Financial Planning reports strong growth

Paul Stones, Managing Director, Pareto Financial Planning

Pareto Financial Planning, the award-winning Manchester based financial services business, today reported strong growth across the business for 2021/2022. The financial planning firm announces it has increased turnover by 22% and exceeded £1 billion of assets under its management.

People First

Paul Stones took on the role of Managing Director in 2021 taking responsibility for the overall performance of the company and Pareto’s growth objectives as set by the Board.

Additionally, Pareto increased headcount by 20% to over 70 as it continues to expand its operations in line with ambitious strategic growth plans. Pareto welcomed two Chartered Financial Planners and also two members of the team progressed through its ‘Adviser Academy’ to become Financial Advisers.

Pareto’s Employee Benefit team continued to expand further with the recruitment of an additional Employee Benefit consultant to add to the existing team of specialists. This reflects an increasing desire for employers to focus on recruitment, retention and employee wellbeing by seeking the right advice and having the best benefit packages in place for their staff.

Partnerships

Pareto secured three new partnerships, adding North West based Beever and Struthers, Wyatt Morris Golland Ltd and Langricks to a growing number of Chartered Accountants that trust Pareto to provide a range of financial planning services to their clients including pensions, protection, investments and corporate planning advice.

Social Impact

As Pareto continues to grow, it is important to maintain a strong culture, inspire confidence and empower change. At the end of 2021, Pareto issued its first Impact Report, a committee-led initiative which shapes the culture and values of the business, leading by example and driving change for increased transparency. This commitment Pareto believes delivers a positive impact on employees, communities and the environment.

Charities and community projects supported by Pareto have included: Beechwood Cancer Care, Manchester City of Trees, Wood Street Mission, Friends of Wellfield Running Track, Gildersome Girls Under 13’s Football Team, Curzon Ashton PAN-Disability Football Team and Agecroft Rowing Club Youth Rowing Program.

Paul Stones, Managing Director, Pareto Financial Planning, said: “With economic uncertainty more pronounced, now more than ever, it is critical that those seeking to protect and secure their financial future can do so with the confidence that the team they work with are personal and approachable.
