RAC appoints CBRE to bring 4.5-acre Stretford site to market

RAC has appointed CBRE’s Development and Residential team in Manchester to bring to market RAC House in Stretford, Manchester.

Following the recent announcement that RAC will relocate its call centre operations, the breakdown assistance service and car insurance provider has now instructed CBRE to bring to market RAC House for sale.

The 4.5-acre site comprises a 56,000 sq ft office building which has a 200-metre frontage overlooking Bridgewater Canal.  With excellent transport connectivity, RAC House is located within walking distance of Stretford Metrolink and Stretford Mall. The site also sits within an area which is garnering a lot of interest from developers with Urmston, Stretford and Old Trafford all attracting significant investment.

The adjacent site, which comprises of decommissioned gas holders, is also being marketed for sale by National Grid giving potential for a wider regeneration of the area.
