Crewe’s Ruskin Park Royals Under 10s football team has scored with new shirts from leading residential developer Bellway.
With its Kingfisher Reach development located close to the boys’ training ground at the Cumberland Arena, the housebuilder was pleased to lend its support to the club and cover the cost of the shirts for the forthcoming new season.
Part of the Alexandra Soccer Centre Mini Football League that plays at Crewe Alexandra Soccer Centre, Ruskin Park Royals has more than 140 players across all ages and abilities. A key part of the local community, coaching is done on a voluntary basis and the club relies solely on sponsorship and fundraising to ensure that players have everything they need for their weekly training sessions and regular competitive matches.
Manager of the team, Lewis Broomhall, commented: “We are extremely grateful to Bellway for sponsoring our kits, it is much appreciated and will allow the players to return to post Covid-19 competitive football in September in style. Recently formed, this will be our first season together and we are looking to make our mark in the league and many memorable achievements as a team.”
