Manchester ticket comparison website SafeTicketCompare acquires TicketReview.net for immediate merger.
TicketReview, started in 2007 provided readers with unbiased reviews of primary and secondary ticket websites in the UK and Europe. Founder Alex Phillips created the website after losing money for festival tickets to an unreputable website. The website grew to gaining over 10,000 reviews of 100’s different websites in 10 different countries.
Safe Ticket Compare, Founder Adam Lee believes that “purchasing the number one ticket review website in the UK means we can now add it directly to our already growing platform. The solid traffic numbers, organic reach and content of Ticket Review align to our goal of becoming the leading sport ticket comparison website. We will work with our technical teams to transfer across the content and domain to seamlessly integrate with our platform.”
Safe Ticket Compare is the first ticket comparison website for football tickets in the UK to use live prices from the safest ticket sellers online. “Whilst there are hundreds of websites which sell tickets, we have a strict policy on only accepting the safest of websites with a solid history of delivering the correct tickets, on time.”
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed but a potential revenue share and upfront fee were agreed.
