Sheffield firm amongst top Yorkshire conveyancers

Sheffield-based PM Property Lawyers won the Bronze award in the Yorkshire category at the prestigious ESTAS awards last week, putting it in the top three firms in the county. The award was announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert, at a dinner and ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, attended by 300 of the UK’s top conveyancing firms.

The ESTAS Awards determine the best property professionals in the UK based purely on feedback from customers. This is the first year that The ESTAS has recognised service levels delivered by conveyancers with 5,000 customers responding to the ESTAS survey. PM Property Lawyers achieved a remarkable 96% satisfaction rate in the survey.

Joanne Collins, Conveyancing Team Manager at PM Property Lawyers, commented:

“We’re incredibly proud of this award, particularly because it’s based on feedback from our customers. Our entire team works so hard to deliver great customer service and to be recognised in this way means a huge amount.”

Phil Spencer, who has hosted The ESTAS every year since their inception in 2003 said:
“The conveyancing industry doesn’t get enough credit for the work it does in helping millions of customers around the UK and making their dreams come true and at The ESTAS we want to highlight that fact.” Addressing the audience he added, “If you make it up on stage today you can leave in the knowledge that you’ve achieved the highest accolade our industry can offer.”
After picking up the award, Harvey Harding, Managing Director of PM Property Lawyers, said:

“We have been operating as PM Property Lawyers for less than two years. So to get this vote of confidence from our customers at this early stage is incredibly rewarding. It’s clear that customers place great importance on service and communication, not just the quality of the conveyancing work, and it’s fantastic to know that we’re going in the right direction. But we know there are always improvements to be made so over the next year we’ll be working to get that 96% up to 100%!

“Further, following the Government’s announcement of their intention to look into improving the home buying and selling process we’ll be working closely with the leading industry bodies and organisations to improve the customer journey for all.”
