Sophisticated new café restaurant to bring a flavour twist to Leeds

Jamaica Blue Restaurant Leeds

The UK’s third Jamaica Blue café is opening on 01st December at the Trinity Centre in Leeds, bringing a sophisticated café dining experience and premium quality food to the area.

Inspired by the famous Jamaican saying ‘Wan wan coco ful baskit’, the new café aims to inspire Leeds residents and visitors to take some time out to relax! The café’s name is drawn from the stunning Blue Mountains of Jamaica, one of the best coffee producing regions in the world and home to Jamaica Blue’s Blue Mountain coffee.

The café restaurant offers all day dining, with a wide range of classic breakfast and lunch dishes – all served with a Jamaica Blue twist. The store’s new evening menu boasts enticing options such as Espresso Chicken Wings, Fish Tacos and French Croissant Bread and Butter Pudding. Everything on the menu is prepared each day using high quality and fresh ingredients.

Michael Arbuckle, Managing Director of FoodCo UK who own Jamaica Blue, comments: “We are delighted to be opening our third UK store in the busy city of Leeds. We know shoppers will love our contemporary interior designs to relax and escape from the busy city centre. Our menu is diverse and brings a real twist to the norm on the high street, which will appeal to a variety of tastes. We look forward to welcoming everyone through the door.”

Jamaica Blue offers premium food options and a trendy, yet relaxed interior design. The new store offers a casual atmosphere and will serve as the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy shops. The high-end coffee is considered to be one of the world’s best, with beans sourced from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.

The new café restaurant offers a take away drink and snack service for those short on time, but who do not want to compromise on the quality of their food. Opening late, the new store has an alcohol license and will be serving a selection of wines and beers – ideal for after work and weekend dining.

The Jamaica Blue brand originates from Australia, where it quickly gained popularity and is now one of Australia’s most loved places to eat. The first UK store opened in Cambridge in December 2014, with the second store opening last month in Chelmsford.
