Following an invitation from the organisers of the prestigious VM and Display Show, London, Yorkshire-based So… Visualise made its mark at this respected exhibition.

The event, which took place at the Business Design Centre on18th and 19th April at Angel Islington, attracts some of the best-known Visual Merchandisers in the retail world.

Business owner Lisa Borrie said: “We were delighted at being asked to attend on a complimentary basis by the show’s organisers and our upstairs location was just perfect for our tropical-themed stand!

“Our gifts of mini Freda the Flamingos and origami paper swans went down a treat as these gave our contacts something to take away and remember us by.”

The So… Visualise stand attracted so much attention their feathered-inspired gifts had ‘flown the nest’ early on the first day, and those that did not receive one during the event will have a gift sent directly to them by post.

Lisa continued: “The show was a busy one with a high footfall. We spoke to a number of VM representatives from Radley, La Perla, Warehouse and L’Occitane to name a few. We already have a selection of quotes to prepare for as a result of the show.

“It was the first time we’ve exhibited at the show and it’s such an inspiration to have talented, creative individuals, who represent some of the most famous retail brands around, under one roof. There were some excellent guest speakers, which increased the dwell time of the visitors.

“One of the key aspects we revealed to those who attended our So… Visualise stand was our re-use, recycle ethos.

“In a world where we are becoming increasingly aware of the waste we create, our focus on being able to reuse and re-hire certain props and creations was one of our USPs.

“Also as many VM’s have a issues with storage, our ability to assist with this problem also looks set to became a beacon of hope to many of those who met us face to face at this exciting event.”

“We are hoping to attend next year and we are looking forward to hearing from potential clients.”
