Warrington bistro opens its doors to the vulnerable this Christmas

Warrington-based eatery, Eat Clean Cuisine, will be opening its doors to offer free meals for vulnerable members of the community this festive season.

On Friday 22nd December, the Eat Clean Cuisine team will spend the full day dishing up a range of nutritious meals to help homeless and vulnerable people across the town.

Owner of the Latchford eatery, Myles Smethurt, started the initiative last year during the popular store’s first few months in operation, and he’s keen to offer a helping hand to even more people this year.

Myles said: “While most people are stocking their shelves full of festive food, sadly, there are people out there who are struggling to afford any food at all. The increase in people depending on food banks has been all over the news and myself and the Eat Clean team want to do our bit to support our local community.

“People are faced with all kinds of challenging times – and mostly through no fault of their own – so we launched this idea last Christmas to try and give vulnerable people a little bit of help. A decent, nutritious meal is the least someone should expect over Christmas, so we really hope to welcome as many people as possible this Friday.”
