An award-winning events company has secured an international soft drinks firm as its official event partner for its newest event, Craft Spirit Expo.

No. 18 Ltd, the events firm behind The Gin Fayre, will partner with Bon Accord Soft Drinks to launch Scotland’s first spirit and cocktail festival in February 2019.

The first Craft Spirit Expo event will take place at Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries on 16th February 2019. Eight other Craft Spirit Expo events will take place in venues across Scotland throughout the year.

The event will showcase a variety of spirit brands from Scotland, the UK and the rest of the world including Matugga Rum, Island Slice Rum, Lost Loch Distillery, Crafty Connoisseur, Ink Gin, Sweetdram and many more.

“We are delighted to announce Bon Accord as our official event partner. We chose this fantastic local, family business due to their interesting back-story and personal feel. Having been approached by other soft drink brands, we felt there was something really special about Bon Accord that aligned with our brand values.

“We’re passionate about promoting Scotland’s talented brands in the drinks industry and feel that it makes sense for us to partner with a local brand that could add significant value to our events.

“I’m positive our customers will enjoy the bespoke cocktail recipes that Bon Accord will be introducing at Craft Spirit Expo events.”

Karen Knowles, founder and director of Bon Accord added:

“We’re delighted to be partnering with No. 18 events for their Gin Fayre’s and Craft Spirit Expo’s. We’ve worked closely with the No. 18 team for the past 2 years and it is great to strengthen our relationship with them, with also having the opportunity to work closely with some of the best spirit brands from Scotland and showcase our range with consumers from across Scotland.
