Explore Apprenticeships at the Airco Virtual Open Event

Whilst the pandemic is taking its toll on many businesses, the engineering and construction sectors are still managing to thrive. These industries are recognised by the government as playing a central role in the UK’s economic recovery, creating a significant need for more people to train in relevant trades and disciplines.

Airco Training in Hull and North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe have joined forces to help young people to enter the engineering sector. Their usual careers programme has been limited due to the tier system, although it isn’t stopping them from running valuable online activity to encourage a fresh influx of apprentices.

The Airco Virtual Open Event will take place entirely online on Monday 7th December from 5pm to 6pm. Offering in-depth information regarding careers in the engineering sector, it’s a chance to discover how apprenticeships enable you to earn while you learn. Other routes such as further education and training courses will also be discussed, making it perfect for anyone who wants to enhance their skill set and focus on gaining a rewarding role in the engineering and construction sectors.

Lee Green, Commercial Manager at Airco Training, says:
“We help businesses to fulfil their learning and development requirements, as well as inspire the next generation to explore exciting roles in the world of engineering. By sparing an hour of your Monday evening, you can learn more about our fantastic training provision in partnership with North Lindsey College.”

The Airco Virtual Open Event is free to attend and registrations close at 11pm on Sunday 6th December. Please book your place through Eventbrite or contact North Lindsey College on 01724 281111.
