Another director appointed at Begbies Traynor in Yorkshire

Louise Longley

Louise Longley is the latest director to be appointed in the Yorkshire region by leading insolvency specialist Begbies Traynor.

Louise has more than 10 years’ experience in insolvency having joined Begbies Traynor’s Leeds office in 2004, rising to the position of senior insolvency manager in 2016. During her time with Begbies Traynor she has undertaken an 18 month formal secondment to the Corporate Insolvency and Business Support teams of a major clearing bank.

Louise is a full insolvency practitioner, specialising in corporate and personal insolvency.

In her new role, Louise will continue to be based in Leeds, working with the team to further develop Begbies Traynor’s support for businesses in the area. She will also work closely with the Group’s other offices across Yorkshire and the North East region, assisting with complex and larger cases.

Louise commented: “I am very proud of the career I have developed with Begbies Traynor and excited to be further growing the firm’s presence in Yorkshire and the North East. I look forward to continuing to support businesses and providing my contacts, both new and old, with our full range of corporate and personal insolvency services.”

Julian Pitts, managing partner for Begbies Traynor in Yorkshire, said: “Having been with us for 15 years, Louise is a committed and valued member of the Begbies Traynor team here in Yorkshire. It’s extremely satisfying to see her progress with us and this latest promotion to director is well deserved recognition of her hard work and talent.”

Begbies Traynor currently has nine offices and employs around 100 staff in Yorkshire, the Humber and the North East. It offers a full range of professional services including corporate recovery, investigations and risk, forensic accounting advice, corporate finance, property, funding, debt collection and personal insolvency.
