Clarion is continuing to nurture talent within its team as another five of its lawyers receive promotions, enabling them to further develop their careers with the Leeds law firm.
Joanna Dodd becomes a legal director; while Sarah Molloy, Louise Dodds, Sarah Harrison and Stephanie Kaye rise to the position of senior associate.

Having been a member of Clarion’s employment team for the last 13 years, newly appointed legal director Joanna Dodd provides technical expertise to high profile clients and is treated by many as the lead solicitor on complicated matters. She also takes responsibility for the supervision of more junior lawyers in the team. In addition, Joanna has also been recognised externally in Chambers and Partners as an ‘Associate to Watch’.
Since joining Clarion in 2013, Sarah Molloy has played a significant role in the intellectual property team, specifically by running the firm’s international trade mark filing practice which has led to a number of new client wins. She also helps support and train more junior colleagues and is involved in various firm strategies including the technology sector initiative
Louise Dodds has made an invaluable contribution to establishing and developing the contentious private client team during the 6 years she has worked for Clarion. She is a full member of ACTAPS and an affiliate member of STEP and uses her excellent technical knowledge to help train less experienced colleagues. She has also supported business development through high-profile referrals and her strong client relationship skills.
Having qualified into Clarion’s corporate practice five years ago, Sarah Harrison has used her strong technical skills and project management abilities to become a valued member of the team. She has worked on a wide range of high-profile deals in recent years and in many instances takes the lead role on these transactions.
Stephanie Kaye manages a number of key client relationships in the costs team because clients trust her ability and expert advice. She manages a ten-strong team and has a national reputation for undertaking complex and high value costs work in Court of Protection cases. She also provides bespoke training packages to help her clients improve their costs recovery.
