Vicky Pearce, founder of financial compliance specialist, B-Compliant, is being recognised internationally for her work to improve standards across the sector.
Manchester-based Vicky has been named External Adviser of the Year at the International Compliance Association’s (ICA) Compliance Awards 2023 Europe.
The awards, held at the Hilton London Bankside last week, celebrated excellence in compliance, recognising outstanding achievements, innovation and collaboration. Vicky was praised for the hands-on advice and support she and the B-Compliant team provide by the judging panel, which comprised leaders from the compliance and financial crime prevention sectors.
Vicky said: “I am absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award and to be recognised for the quality of my work on a European stage. I am lucky to have such a great team supporting me at B-Compliant and together, we are proving that financial compliance can be delivered in an affordable and time-efficient manner to businesses of all shapes and sizes.”
Winning the ICA award is a second accolade for B-Compliant, which was also named Micro-Business of the Year at the North West Federation of Small Businesses Celebrating Small Business Awards. The firm is now heading to the national finals on May 18.
