Ben Johnson Interiors grows its Furniture team with two new faces

Rebecca White and Laura Booth of Ben Johnson Interiors

York-based commercial interiors firm, Ben Johnson Interiors, has announced it has welcomed two new staff in its Furniture department.

Rebecca White and Laura Booth have both joined the award-winning business as Furniture Estimators, working as part of a busy team to source furniture solutions for Ben Johnson’s raft of clients, which includes Shark Ninja, Keepmoat Homes and Transdev.

Laura joins the business following 7 years specialising in Furniture solutions for a manufacturer of bespoke hotel furniture and has a degree in Interior Design from Liverpool St. John’s University.

Similarly, Rebecca has a wealth of experience working with clients for both residential and commercial interiors and studied Product Design, as well as possessing an innate passion for all things interior design.

Speaking of her new role, Laura said: “Joining Ben Johnson Interiors has been a big change for me after 7 years with my previous company, but after just two weeks here, I can see the company is busy and thriving and I am looking forward to being a part of the Furniture team and working on some really exciting projects!”

Rebecca added, “My varied roles in interior design to date have given me the knowledge and attention to detail required for this exciting new role with Ben Johnson Interiors and I’m looking forward to helping clients with all aspects of furniture procurement, from initial concept to installation and everything in between.”

The new recruits follow the interior design specialist’s move to a freshly-renovated 2,000 sqft HQ in Bishopthorpe, allowing for further expansion over the coming months.
