Bradford Businesses Use Buy Yorkshire as a Showcase

Bradford based companies will use the Buy Yorkshire Conference as an opportunity to champion business in the city and all that it has to offer when four local organisations come together under one roof to exhibit at the largest business-to-business conference in the North, Buy Yorkshire.

Showcasing the diverse variety of products and services that are on offer, exhibitors Pitts Wilson, Exa Networks, Bradford College and Monster Outdoor will all put the spotlight on their respective industries; electrical engineering, connectivity, education and digital out-of-home advertising.

Organised by the Yorkshire Mafia, the pre-approved membership group dedicated to bringing delegates together to meet, learn and share, the event gives Yorkshire businesses an unrivalled platform to facilitate professional relationships which strengthen the regional economy.

Kate Hutchinson, General Manager at the Yorkshire Mafia, comments: “Its great to have a selection of Bradford based businesses exhibiting at Buy Yorkshire. We have so many high-calibre organisations from across the region attending the event and we know that the benefits of bringing them all together includes the impact that we can have on the local economy.

“If we are able to use the Conference as a platform for businesses throughout Yorkshire – not just in Leeds – then we know that we can have a positive impact and prove that the region really is stronger together.”

Taking place in Leeds, the full-day conference will offer a series of insightful seminars from some of the biggest names in business including Entrepreneur, Gerald Ratner; Chair at the National College of High Speed Rail, Alison Munro; Chairman and CEO of British Airways, Alex Cruz and Head of Digital Communications at Number 10, Chris Hamilton. Boasting more than 150 exhibitors and with a further 4,000 delegates expected to attend, Buy Yorkshire is expected to contribute in excess of £7m to the region’s economy.

Aiming to create a professional network which spans the breadth of Yorkshire, conference organiser the Yorkshire Mafia continues to work towards its goal of eliminating the need to outsource all but essential work beyond the Yorkshire borders.
