Drighlington Show Home Unveiled On Back of Fantastic Sales

A brand-new show home has been unveiled at Miller Homes’ Kings Park, development in Drighlington, to support the increased demand for new homes in the area.

The housebuilder has continued to see an influx of house buyers from all areas of the market, with the first two months of 2021 experiencing increased sales levels, despite the lockdown.

“The unveiling of our new show home at Kings Park, will help to inspire our new buyers with its contemporary and engaging scheme, and for those unable to visit us at present we’ll have a virtual tour of the property on our website in the coming weeks,” said Sarah Whinfrey, Regional Sales Manager, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Viewings are currently by appointment only, but we look forward to welcoming visitors now, and in the future, to admire the wonderful show home and properties that we have available.”

The house, a four-bedroom ‘Repton’ style of home, features both a spacious floor plan and decadent colour scheme. Both the lounge and kitchen-dining area are equipped with French doors opening onto the rear garden; the separate dining room enjoying a feature bay window of its own, flooding the room with natural light.

A navy and grey colour palette weaves throughout the show home, with an array of gold accents created in feature light pendants, tables and chairs and even running through the abstract marble kitchen work surface. Plants are also incorporated into the scheme and well placed accessories add a real touch of home to the property.

“Overall, this show home finds a balance of both decadence and calm, finding the perfect, practical harmony between a house used for work and one used for family and indulgence,” said Sarah. “It emulates perfectly all that we expect our homes to deliver currently and perhaps in the future too, as priorities shift and working from home continues for many.”

The principal bedroom of the Repton show home showcases a strong navy and gold colour scheme with feature lights and walls lined with abstract artwork; a theme prevalent throughout the house. Two further bedrooms have blue themes with grey and blush pink complementing them perfectly creating airy and welcoming rooms.

In a nod towards current working arrangements, and the expectation that this may continue for many, bedroom four has been converted into a welcoming home office creating a wonderfully productive space for work or study. Nature takes a stronger presence in this space, with the introduction of a calming sage green with the navy.

Currently, visits to Kings Park for both the show home and to discuss purchases are by appointment only and these can be booked by calling the Development Sales Manager or visiting the housebuilder’s website.
