New Care has appointed Lisa Astley, from Bolton, as the registered home manager of Ashlands Manor, its 57-bed care facility in Sale.
Lisa, who has more than 15 years’ experience in care home management, was attracted to New Care after hearing fantastic reports from a former colleague who works for the company.
Responsible for a team of approximately 80 employees and 57 residents, Lisa’s key objective is to ensure all residents continue to live long, fulfilled lives with the best team providing exceptional care in a safe, comfortable and vibrant environment.
Lisa is tasked with the overall operational responsibility for the day-to-day running of Ashlands Manor and is very much looking forward to a successful career with New Care.

As soon as the home manager position became available, I immediately got in touch.
