Ecommerce specialist agency, Ampersand, has appointed three new roles to its growing team: a Senior Developer, Senior Front End Developer and a UX Consultant. The new roles follow eleven other recent appointments in the last six months for the agency.

The agency has recently seen the promotion of Dan Doyle to Senior Developer, Lyndsey Herbert to Senior Front End Developer, and Jake Critchlow to UX Consultant.

The Manchester-based agency has seen significant growth over the past few years, with clients in their portfolio including Harvey Nichols, MADE, Bench, Bensons for Beds and Poundland. The restructuring of their team and appointment of new roles has been one of the agency’s key strategies, in order to meet the needs of their growing ecommerce clients.

The new roles follow eleven recent appointments in the last six months for the agency, including seven Developers, two QA Testers, an Office Manager and a Marketing Manager.

The agency’s UX Consultant is a new role for the business and Jake Critchlow has been appointed to the role in order to add more user experience and design insights into the discovery stage of projects. Of his appointment, Jake says: “Over the last 12 months, Ampersand has shifted the way it works across the business in order to provide greater value for our clients. It’s an exciting way of working, and I’m looking forward to my new role as UX Consultant to provide more value and focus for our clients’ customers – the end users.”

Avery Kiesling, HR & Talent Manager, added: “We have amazingly talented people at Ampersand so it’s great to see them getting the progression and recognition they deserve. It’s also wonderful to be part of an organisation that recognises the importance of personal and professional growth and is committed to ensuring everyone has a chance to develop themselves.

Internal promotions are a great way to get people into leadership roles who truly understand the ins and outs of Ampersand. This makes recruiting for other roles, trying out different processes, and the morale 100% more effective and efficient because we have people who are leading with the company’s best interest at heart.”

The Ampersand team have over 40+ team members based in their Manchester office and continue to grow.
