Expanding Leeds recruiter welcomes latest staff signing

Education recruitment specialist, PK Education, has welcomed its latest staff member.

Experienced consultant, Tracey Lynch, has joined the fast-growing company’s newly-opened Leeds office, bases at Prince’s Exchange, as a Special Education Needs (SEN) Consultant, after three years with another agency.

“It’s really nice, I’m enjoying it. PK is a breath of fresh air,” said Tracey, 34, who lives in Wakefield.

“I used to run an SEN desk at a previous company. It’s more autonomous here and I’m able to enjoy what recruitment is about; matching people with the right role.

“When you are in a corporate structure you can’t add your own input. Here it is like running your own business within a business. I’m able to be more focused and able to set my own goals and challenges.”

Tracey, a mum-of-three, said she had been impressed by the supply teacher agency’s ethos and appreciated how family orientated the company is.

“The hours are perfect,” added Tracey who has girls aged 12, four and nine months old.

Outside of work Tracey enjoys spending time with her young family.

In the future she hopes to develop the SEND side of PK Education.“I want to make my mark and build this desk and if that means bringing on a couple more people to work alongside me that would be brilliant,” she said.

PK Education puts performance before profit and intelligently matches teachers to schools based on skills, rather than a one-size fits all approach. Its unique and admirable ethos has helped the company stand out in the education recruitment market and has led to PK experiencing rapid growth over the last year, doubling its turnover and increasing staff numbers considerably.

The company now boasts seven offices in Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester and Leeds -which opened earlier this year -and is continuing to recruit top quality consultants to join the PK family.
