NOF Energy has welcomed experienced marketing and business development professional Caroline Lofthouse back to the organisation as Head of Stakeholder Engagement.

She returns to Durham-based NOF Energy after a two-year period working in industry where she held both marketing and business development positions.

Having originally spent 11 years at NOF Energy, predominately as Business Development Manager, Caroline was instrumental in the development and delivery of key member services including events, industry introductions and international market visits.

In her new role Caroline will build and develop relationships with new and existing partners and members, supporting their involvement with the NOF Energy network.

Through mutually-beneficial partnerships, NOF Energy aims to help its members secure new work and relationships in the oil, gas, offshore wind and power sectors while assisting partners with building their supply chains and highlight opportunities in key markets.

Caroline will also work closely with key organisations, such as trade bodies and industry groups, as well as large energy industry developers and operators, to establish partnerships that will encourage valuable connections bringing reciprocal benefits to them and the NOF Energy network.

Caroline Lofthouse said: “I am really pleased to return to NOF Energy and take on this new role. Working with our members and wider network and partners, NOF Energy successfully creates valuable connections between businesses in the global energy sector, which builds strong and resilient supply chains and can lead to innovative companies securing new projects and contracts. I am keen to further develop those relationships and engage with key stakeholders that will enhance the opportunities available to the NOF Energy network and its partners. In addition, I will lead on ensuring our members have access to services, which help them raise their profile and keep their name at the forefront of the industry.”

George Rafferty, Chief Executive of NOF Energy, said: “Caroline is a real asset to NOF Energy and our members, and we are delighted she is again part of the team. She has benefited from a period working in industry, which has brought her fresh experience and knowledge that she will apply to this new role.

“Our network of highly-innovative members form a substantial part of the UK energy sector supply chain. Through our partnerships with major organisations from across the industry our expert team play a key role in building relationships, which can lead to mutually-beneficial agreements and the creation and application of new technology-led solutions for energy projects.”
