Flame Concepts Ensures Lakes Hospitality Show Goes On

Cumbria based web solutions and online ticketing expert, Flame Concepts, the winner of the ‘Best Ticketing Technology’ Award at this year’s national ‘Event Technology Awards’ has demonstrated its commitment to Lake District tourism, by coming to the assistance of Lakeland’s premier trade hospitality event.

The Lakes Hospitality Show turned to Flame Concepts in an hour of need, when the show, which has run for 43 years, had a change of key personnel. At short notice, the show’s coordinator required a reliable digital solution to facilitate exhibition stand booking and payment.

With the help of Flame Concepts’ expertise, flexibility and quick reaction time, the show was able to relaunch itself online and start to take bookings from exhibitors within just a few working days.

Flame Concepts has designed a website that enables the site visitor to quickly assimilate all the necessary information about the event, view the exhibition floorplan and details of current exhibitors and then proceed to book space, if they wish to do so.


Everything is quick and easy-to-do, whether that is booking a trestle table, or arranging for a handheld scanner that can take and retain details from a stand visitor’s visitor pass.

Ticketing technology has also been incorporated into the site and this will become operational once the March 7-8 event opens its visitor registrations.
