Free coworking at Avenue HQ for Leeds Business Week

New Leeds city centre coworking space, rooftop bar and eatery opens all in one place!

A new building with three bars, its own rooftop bar and business space for more than 300 people is now open and its place in the heart of the city comes with a host of opening week offers.

Based at East Parade, in a stunning Grade II listed property, Avenue HQ’s second workspace hub incorporates 35 private offices and 200 coworking spaces across 35,000 sq ft.

To celebrate its opening week, Avenue HQ is offering a free week of coworking to businesses and freelancers who are based in Leeds.

Coinciding with Leeds Business Week (October 8 – 12), those who take up the offer will also benefit from a range of events taking place throughout the space which includes; member lunches, business support events and pop-up stalls from local suppliers.

Also housed at the £3million development is East Parade Social – a modern, relaxed restaurant, bar and hangout, which encompasses the company’s ‘work-life without limits’ tagline. It brings a rooftop bar, coffee shop and secret garden to the space, providing a range of locally-sourced food and drink options and operates as a dusk ‘till dawn service.

Every week East Parade Social offers 2 for £10 cocktails, 2 for £8 pints and any can of craft beer for £4 as part of its Happy Hour, which runs from 5-8pm every Thursday and Friday.

You can also download the East Parade Social app to get a free coffee, supplied by North Star.

Leah Dottie, head of hospitality said: “East Parade Social as a concept was born earlier this year in response to the amazing location we discovered in Leeds. We want East Parade Social to be the antidote to your working week, a space to get lunch to power through your afternoon or to relax with friends after a busy day.

“We’ll have a host of offers throughout our open week and we can’t wait to meet the people and businesses in Leeds!”

Matthew Kennedy, CEO of Avenue HQ adds: “People want a lifestyle, it’s not just 9-5 working anymore, and that’s what Avenue HQ offers. A lot of small businesses fail due to social isolation, our approach to coworking and community combats this directly.

“This type of working is the future and we encourage anyone who’s been thinking about changing their approach to work-life balance to come and check out the space during Leeds Business Week.”

East Parade Social is open to tenants and the public from 8am-11pm, Sunday – Thursday and 9am – midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
