Hortor, the global resourcing and managed service consultancy headquartered in Leeds, has nominated two charities that will benefit from its fundraising efforts throughout 2022.

Mind, the mental health charity and KidsOut, the organisation that provides disadvantaged children from challenging backgrounds with positive experiences, were nominated by colleagues across the business.

The company will now arrange a year-round schedule of events to encourage employees, partners, suppliers and clients to contribute towards a collective total which will be split between both organisations at the end of the year.

Chief Executive Officer for Hortor, Andy Nicholson, comments: “It was important for us to choose the charities that meant the most to our colleagues. While there were many suggestions, we all agreed that Mind and KidsOut are two causes that we feel we can really get behind and support.

“We hope that others in our network will get involved too and help us to raise a target of more than £12,000 across the year. We want this to be more than just a tick in a box, it’s part of our culture and is embedded into all that we do.”

In addition to the two chosen charities, Hortor is also sponsor of local football club, Emley AFC. Providing the club with annual contributions, the company support its efforts to become a leading contender within the NCEL Premier Division.
