A family-run HR, employment law and health and safety firm based in Yorkshire has secured a three-year contract to work with one of the UK’s leading global discount goods suppliers.
Howarths People and Safety Management has been appointed by Overseas Trading Limited (OTL) to provide on-site health and safety compliance at its 50,000 square foot warehouse in Castleford.
The firm supplies discounted food and non-food products to retailers, wholesalers and independent stores across the UK, and has offices in China and elsewhere in Europe.
Howarths will support OTL with areas including ongoing risk assessments, machinery maintenance checks and implementation of safe working practices for more than 50 staff.
Commenting on the deal, OTL finance director, Phil Jennings, said:
