Husband and Wife Team Choose Yorkshire to Launch Unique Fitness and Personal Development Retreat

Julian and Jenna on one of their hiking adventures

The Yorkshire Dales will be host to a brand new retreat experience with a twist, after being the clear choice for an entrepreneurial husband and wife team.

Being avid hikers and having fallen in love with the region’s extensive trails, Julian and Jenna Dominique have joined forces to launch their Ambitious Adventurer Retreat in Yorkshire – part of their business DAT adventures – focusing on health and fitness plus personal and professional development.

With over 20 years’ experience as a personal trainer and exercise rehabilitation specialist, Julian leads the fitness element of this unique 3-day challenge, that builds up to hiking the famous three peaks in the region, Ingleborough, Whernside, Pen-y-ghent.

During the retreat, Jenna will work with guests to create a tailored action plan to help achieve their personal and professional goals. Accredited with the International Coaching Federation and having worked with thousands of individuals and businesses, Jenna leads the personal development element of the experience.

Speaking on the inspiration behind DAT adventures, Jenna explained: “In both of our industries, we’re hugely passionate about helping others to achieve their full potential and we wanted to combine this with our love of adventure and being active. Our Ambitious Adventurer Retreat is designed to do exactly that, providing a brilliant adventure for our guests while progressing with personal goals, and Yorkshire is the perfect location for our UK retreat.”

Julian added: “We have always recognised the connection between exercise and achieving personal goals – exercise supports brain function, our ability to focus, our confidence and so much more. DAT adventures is all about providing experiences that maximise potential.”

The first Ambitious Adventurer Retreat is taking place from the 5 – 8 June this year, where guests will stay in a luxury barn, enjoy sunrise stretch sessions, feast on nutritious food from their private chef and complete the Yorkshire Three Peak challenge that they would have been training towards with Julian’s tailored fitness plan.

The Retreat then ventures internationally with the Vancouver edition taking place in October 2024, with more DAT events scheduled throughout the year.
