Jordan Lynch Private Finance acquires Spinningfields townhouse to support Manchester expansion

Tim Lynch, Director

Jordan Lynch Private Finance has acquired a three-storey self-contained townhouse at St John’s Court on Gartside Street, in the heart of Manchester’s Spinningfields business district.

The firm will carry out a full refurbishment over the coming weeks ahead of relocating its growing Manchester team to the new space.

Built in the early 1980s, the Georgian-style property features traditional sash windows designed to complement the historic character of the area, while sitting within the modern commercial architecture that has emerged as part of Spinningfields’ major regeneration since the early 2000s.

The acquisition comes as Jordan Lynch Private Finance continues to expand its footprint in the North West. The firm already occupies office space at No.1 Spinningfields, alongside a Cheadle Hulme head office and a presence in central London, but says the new townhouse will allow it to increase capacity and provide a more personal client experience.

Founder and Principal Director Tim Lynch said: “Manchester is booming and this acquisition will enable us to expand our team right in the city centre. Mortgage advice has become increasingly de-personalised in recent years, and, while we fully embrace technology, many clients with complex borrowing requirements still benefit enormously from face-to-face meetings.

“It will be a real pleasure to welcome our clients and introducers through the front door of our own self-contained office, just a stone’s throw from so many of the professional firms we work with on a daily basis.”

Jordan Lynch Private Finance expects to move into the refurbished building later this year.
