Learning Partners Support Leading Ladies at Leeds Business Week

Learning and development consultancy, Learning Partners Ltd, has become the latest sponsor to throw its support behind the annual week-long celebration of business, Leeds Business Week (LBW), which takes place from 8th to 12th October.

Choosing to sponsor the popular women’s networking session, which last year saw ladies queuing around the block to take their seats, the organisation will share its expertise in building the performance, effectiveness and success of professional women to ensure that every person, regardless of gender, achieves their potential within the workplace.

Encouraging women to be at their best in terms of confidence, self-belief, impact, and skills, delegates are invited to hear more about the combination of group and one-to-one solutions that seek to improve the overall prospects of businesses by placing an emphasis on the wellbeing and productivity of employees.

Having attended the debut women’s networking event, held during last year’s LBW, the organisation was eager to become one of this year’s sponsors. Founder and Director of Learning Partners, Jacqy Munro comments:

“We met so many fantastic, ambitious women at last year’s event that we were keen to sponsor this year’s session and make the most of the opportunities on offer. A large part of our business is understanding how people feel that they can be supported in their success, so the chance to meet with and learn more about these ladies is invaluable.

“With the success of a business relying so heavily on the effectiveness of its people, nurturing staff to reach their best is crucial. Whether it’s up-skilling or simply instilling confidence and self-belief, the results achieved through the correct training and coaching can transform organisations from the inside out.”

Having recently teamed up with a professor of neuroscience, the business has continued to incorporate these learnings into the programmes that it delivers, ensuring its teachings are based upon the latest research.

Jessica Coates, Marketing and Events Manager at the Yorkshire Mafia (YM), the organisation behind LBW, comments:

“Diversity within the workplace is a huge topical issue and is an area that Learning Partners are clearly extremely passionate about; combining this with a focus on the wellbeing of employees makes the contribution even more relevant to today’s business climate. We’re really looking forward to hearing all about the support that the company offers and how this can benefit women in business.”

With a strict no-selling policy in place at all of its events, the YM, which boasts a network of over 22,000 members, supports organisations in establishing genuine and lasting social and professional relationships that allow businesses to fulfil their long-term goals.

Taking place at Dakota Deluxe Hotel on 8th October from 1-4pm, the event will combine networking opportunities with insights from industry experts. Tickets for the event cost £20 per person and include canapes and a drink. For further information on this and other events taking place throughout the week, please visit the website.
