This month, two Leeds business owners are celebrating 25 years providing chiropractic care to the people of Leeds alongside welcoming a new chiropractor to join the expanding team.
The two founding directors of Horsforth based, Broadgate Chiropractic Clinic, Simon Smith and Chris Binks qualified back in 1994. After joining forces to start the business together in 1999, they outgrew their initial premises in 2014 when the team expanded to 7 chiropractors and moved to their Horsforth Clinic, with the addition of the Broadgate Wellness Centre in 2017.
This July, the team welcomes the newest member of the chiropractic team, Amelia Laxton, 24, a newly qualified Chiropractor and passionate advocate of the importance of selfcare. Amelia said on her new appointment: “As a recently qualified graduate, being able to join a team such as Broadgate is a dream come true! I’m looking forward to getting to know the local community and making Leeds my new home.”
Simon adds: “Chris and I are delighted to be celebrating our 25th anniversary at the same time Amelia is joining the team. We love being part of the Leeds community, with patients from across the city visiting our clinic and often getting to know and treat generations of the same family. Over the years we have seen people’s interest in complementary care grow massively. With over 80% of the population experiencing neck and back pain, the impact on people’s lives is huge. We love being able to help people realise how good they can really feel!”
Chiropractic care provides treatment for everything from joint pain, backache, neckpain, headaches, musculoskeletal and postural complaints for babies to the elderly.
