Leeds Telecoms innovator boost their customer focus

Leeds-based Simetric Telecom boosted its customer support team with the addition of Kirstin McLellan. Kirstin joins the unified telecoms business as Customer Account Manager.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our partners, we are pleased to welcome her to the Simetric team. In her role Kirstin will liaise directly with Simetric’s channel partners and resellers ensuring that they have all the support and information they need to help them get the best out of our unified telecoms services.

Kirstin said “My entire career has been customer focused, my very first job was working for BT as an emergency call handler. I spent many years in a new business role, but now my focus is on customer service and support. My customers are my priority and as their account manager, I want to provide the best customer journey experience possible. When I first spoke to Simetric they made it very clear that customer service was key to the way they worked, so I’m pleased to be taking on this important role.”

Gavin Sweet, managing director said “We are really pleased Kirstin has joined our team. As we expand, having a dedicated person handling customer service and after sales is really important for us and our resellers and channel partners. Kirstin brings with her a great deal of enthusiasm and experience, which is just want we need.”

Mobile-X is a unified telecoms system that enables organisations to have the same call handling, call recording and switchboard services on their employees mobile phones as on the handsets as they would at their desks. Most systems rely on an app on a smart phone. The beauty of Simetric’s system is that it works via a SIM card which will work in any unlocked phone which accepts them.

The service is also able to automatically record conversations which is a feature that has become increasingly important for financial service businesses to have due to the new MiFID II regulations.
