RG (Ryecroft Glenton), has announced that Helen Pennock has been appointed Partner, having spent her entire career with the business.
Having joined RG from school 23 years ago, Helen has built a successful career, gaining respected qualifications and experience to establish herself as a highly regarded adviser specialising in agricultural businesses and landed estates.
RG hired Helen as an office assistant when she left school at 18 and encouraged her to attend university, giving her a part-time role while she studied towards her degree.
Helen returned full-time to the business after gaining a First Class degree from Newcastle University, subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.
A mother of two young children, Helen has successfully juggled the twin demands of family and work while growing her client portfolio.
As well as providing accounting, auditing and taxation services to a variety of businesses and trusts, Helen is part of the specialist team supporting RG’s agricultural clients, across Northumberland and further afield.
Helen said: “I am very proud to be invited to become a partner at RG. Throughout my career everyone at the firm has been very supportive, which has enabled me to acquire new skills and build up significant experience. I am keen to work with the younger members of the firm to provide the same levels of support that I received, to enable them to progress their careers as I have.”
