Houghton le Spring-based 0800 Repair is celebrating after winning a prestigious national award.
The heating, insulation and renewables firm was named Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year at the 2019 H&V News Awards.
The achievement follows a successful year for the company, building on 0800 Repair’s Highly Commended accolade at last year’s H&V News Awards.
The H&V News Awards is recognised as the most prestigious and longest running awards ceremony for the construction, heating and plumbing industry.
Established in 2006, Pacifica Group, incorporating 0800 Repair, is one of the UK’s largest providers of home services and product warranty. The Group handles in excess of 4,500 jobs per week and employs more than 470 staff, including 250 field-based engineers.
This latest award success follows a strong year for Pacifica Group, as it has been recognised with several awards in recent times.
The Group won the national Social Responsibility Company of the Year award at the 2018 Energy Efficiency Awards, while 0800 Repair was recognised with a Special Commendation in the Multi-Measure Project category. 0800 Repair was also Highly Commended in the Boiler & Heating Installer and Contractor of the Year category at the regional North East Energy Efficiency Awards.
Pacifica Group also enjoyed a record 2018 as revenues rose by 32% to £36.1m for the year, with the company expecting this figure to rise to more than £40m in 2019.
