Peel L&P has announced its appointment of national commercial property specialist, Matthews & Goodman, as the agents for its portfolio of offices in Wirral, including Tower Quays and Woodside Business Park.
Woodside House, a two-storey office space of just under 7,500 sq ft at the centre of Woodside Business Park, underwent a comprehensive refurbishment last year and is now part fully-fitted and part finished to a shell condition, providing a blank canvas for any business to create their own bespoke space.
The accommodation is largely open plan but can easily be divided into smaller units. It also benefits from generous designated parking and a popular on-site café.
Tower Quays, situated on Tower Road, contains both one and two storey modern office accommodation offering a variety of suite sizes, some of which have recently undergone refurbishment.
Both premises are adjacent to Wirral Waters, the largest regeneration project in the UK which is set to transform the 500-acre waterside site into a sustainable location for local and international businesses. Over the next 30 years, Wirral Waters will create more than 20,000 permanent jobs for the Liverpool City Region, as well as offer new housing opportunities.
Woodside Business Park and Tower Quays also benefit from excellent transport links with the A41 and A554, leading to the Wirral Peninsular Road, and the M53 motorway network as well as to Liverpool city centre via the Queensway Tunnel. They are also in close proximity to Woodside bus and ferry terminals, Hamilton Square and Birkenhead town centre.
Last month, one of the world’s leading technical make-up artists, Shaune Harrison, moved his studio and academy to Woodside Business Park. Shaune has worked on some of the world’s biggest blockbusters, including Harry Potter, Captain America, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and The Avengers and will now run a number of courses and seminars from his new premises on the banks of the River Mersey.
Other tenants include Warner Bros, Bryson McHugh Architects and Ships Electronic Services.
Robyn Walters, property manager at Peel L&P, said: “We are very pleased to announce our appointment of Matthews & Goodman as the agents for our office premises at Woodside Business Park and Tower Quays. We have refurbished many of our units recently so that they provide modern, open plan accommodation with units suitable for a variety of different businesses, some of which are fully customisable.”
Lynn Haime, partner at Matthews & Goodman said, “We are delighted to act for Peel L&P on these schemes on the Wirral; an area which is already experiencing major growth in its business and creative communities, notwithstanding the large-scale future regeneration plans. Tower Quays and Woodside Business Park provide excellent opportunities for local businesses, SME’s and start-ups to get a foothold in this location on flexible terms.”
