Huddersfield-based drainage experts, Metro Rod West Yorkshire, have announced new job vacancies at their office in Slaithwaite, offering West Yorkshire locals the opportunity to join their fast, busy, growing team of drainage engineers.
The company have recently employed new engineers to the team; an apprentice, general assistant and plumbing engineer who are being trained in all aspects of drainage by highly trained Director, Dave Carter and his team. Yorkshire born and bred, Mr Carter has worked in the drainage industry both as an engineer and trainer over 30 years. Dave supports his engineers in every way possible, being a ‘hands-on’ manager, offering advice and guidance to all his engineers.
Each day of the year the Yorkshire drainage experts attend 40 to 50 jobs a day across Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford and Huddersfield. The busy service centre aims to be visiting twice as many sites by early 2020 and therefore they require highly-experienced drainage engineers. The high demand for tanker services in West Yorkshire due to recent bad weather and flooding has rocketed further. Their vacuum tanker is an excellent method for flood water relief, providing quick removal of water and other debris.
