Patient engagement agency, COUCH Health, embarks on a 3-year long mission to improve the lives of 1 million people.

From the outset, people have been at the heart of everything the team at COUCH Health creates. And their collective mission – to improve everyone’s lives – comes from a very personal place.

“Being able to access quality healthcare information and assistance shouldn’t be something we have to fight for, but sadly, it is,” says Ash Rishi, co-founder of COUCH Health.

“Our desire to improve health information, education and accessibility – and ultimately improve lives – is driven by my personal experiences, but is something the entire team at COUCH has bought in to. And our 1 Million Lives campaign is just another way that we’re going to push for better in the industry.”

The agency’s mission to improve the lives of one million people by 2022 is the essence of the campaign in its simplest form. It will be approached through a combination of personal pledges, creative awareness campaigns, support events, social change initiatives and innovative advertising projects. All of which will be housed on a dedicated website, along with the metrics of how they have measured impact, and a tally of lives improved so far. Rishi gave his thoughts on the journey ahead, saying, “setting ourselves a target to improve the lives of a million people is bold. But in reality, even if we improve the life of just one person, we’ve made a difference. Every life we impact is rewarding to us as an agency, and as individuals.”

COUCH Health has grown by 500%, turning a team of two into a team of 12 in 2019 alone. And with that growth comes a strong collection of diverse talents, including copywriters, designers, art directors, account managers, social media managers and strategic leads.

“We might still be considered a small agency, but we now have the strategic, organisational and creative talent needed to drive forward an initiative like 1 Million Lives. It’s an exciting time for us at COUCH Health, but it’s important that while we have plans in place to continue growing, we always remain true to our reason for being. And our 1 Million Lives mission will help us do exactly that – anyone who joins the team will need to get behind our pledge and get involved,” explained Rishi.
