Pride In The Job Quality Award Win For Miller Homes

Housebuilder Miller Homes is celebrating in the North West after two site managers, Andy Halladay and Bill Hughes, were recognised with Pride in the Job Quality Awards.

The National House Building Council backed awards, which are widely recognised as being amongst the most prestigious in the industry, recognise site managers across the homebuilding industry who have showcased the highest possible standard of quality in construction.

Both Bill and Andy have once more been acknowledged for their work in building the new homes at Fairfield Gardens in Widnes and Croston Meadow in Leyland safely and to the highest quality. Both previously won the award in 2017, and Bill has a long history of Pride in the Job award wins including, 6 ‘Supreme Winner’ titles and 24 Quality Awards. To win this award, both were meticulously assessed across 44 areas of site management – including technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and quality controls.

Bill commented: “To win this prestigious award is fantastic. It’s amazing to be recognised for your hard work and commitment to the industry.”

Andy added: “I’m delighted to be recognised with this award as it demonstrates our commitment to building high quality homes across the North West.”

Fred Swinburne, Regional Production Director for Miller Homes in the North West, adds: “We’re extremely proud of Andy and Bill for once more achieving a Pride in the Job Quality Award. They are incredibly diligent team members, and their dedication high standards in safety and construction is truly admirable – well done both!”
