A local opticians has been named as one of the most customer friendly stores in Manchester, according to a mystery shopping survey commissioned by the Business Improvement District (BID).
Specsavers in the Manchester Arndale centre received a gold award from BID after scoring above 90 per cent in mystery shop visits.
The store was judged on its customer relations, product range, dispensing quality and store presentation. Stores were visited throughout the year and graded on different aspects of customer service on each occasion, without knowing when to expect the visit or when they had been visited.
Peter Dodd, store director at Specsavers Manchester Arndale, says: ‘It’s fantastic that the team here in the Arndale centre have received such great recognition for always going the extra mile for customers.
‘The award presented to us by BID is a true reflection of the staff’s passion and commitment to eye care. We look forward to maintaining our gold customer service status.’
The Manchester Arndale store boasts the latest ophthalmic technology, including state-of-the-art computerised sight testing equipment, Frame Styler technology, a private area for pre-testing, full air-conditioning and a dedicated contact lens area.
