Actor Tim Healy dropped by to open a new, luxury housing development on the outskirts of Hexham.
The star of film, screen and stage recently took time out of his busy schedule to officially open Coach House, off the main A695 Corbridge to Hexham road.
As a personal friend of the local Northumberland developer, Birchdove Homes, he was delighted to lend his support to promote this attractive development of eight, four and five-bed detached stone-built homes.
He was on hand for the opening and viewing of the first home to be completed on the site on Saturday September 28.
Ed Seymour, branch manager at Hexham-based estate agent Foster Maddison, said: “It was a pleasure having Tim along on the day; he met and greeted some of the first visitors to Coach House.
“We had a constant stream of visitors all day; they were all impressed by the quality of design and high level of specification throughout. We have been following up some strong enquiries since the opening.
“Interest in the four-bed Linnel is strong, but people are already wanting to view the other, as yet unfinished house types on site.”
There are four spacious house types combining traditional materials like stone, brick and slate with more modern design features incorporating zinc, a high amount of glass and timber-style cladding. Each home makes great use of glass and natural light. External design features create a varied and bespoke streetscape.
Coach House has been designed with a care for family living and the local environment. Accessed through its own private entrance, they have been designed and crafted by a local architect and constructed by a local builder.
Attention to detail and high-quality materials have been used throughout each home. Materials have been specifically chosen to reflect local surroundings.
