Both based in the historic town of York, luxury leather brand Maxwell-Scott and the only 5* hotel in the city The Grand, York have partnered to highlight the very best that Yorkshire has to offer.
As experts in their respective fields, it is an understandable progression for the two to be working together. In the upcoming months the pair will collaborate closely in order to showcase the city’s luxury landmarks. The collaboration will culminate with a high-profile blogger event later in the year as part of Maxwell-Scott’s AW19 women’s collection launch. This event will be held in the The Grand, York’s historic Chairman’s suite.

Originally built in 1906 The Grand, York is located in the centre of the city bursting with original features and architecture. It stands as one of the most respectable hotels in the city. This history and commitment to quality aptly reflects Maxwell-Scott’s focus on workmanship and sourcing the very finest materials. Each Maxwell-Scott briefcase, handbag, luggage bag and accessory is handcrafted in Tuscany, the epicentre of the traditional leather industry, from full grain vegetable-tanned leather.
In 2019 three collaborations have been planned. Currently, the pair are hosting a joint Easter Travel Giveaway across social media and email. Entrants have a chance of winning a complimentary one night’s stay for two and a Maxwell-Scott luggage travel set worth over £800. Then, in July, The Grand, York will be hosting a blogger/press event with Maxwell-Scott. The event will showcase Maxwell-Scott’s AW19 collection of women’s handbags. Situated in the Chairman’s suite, the event will host 20-25 bloggers for a champagne reception and canapés. Lastly, Maxwell-Scott products will also be featured in The Grand, York’s White Rose Lounge. In this executive lounge, Maxwell-Scott’s business accessories will sit alongside a curated selection of goods. Product catalogues will be distributed around the lounge and in the suites as well.
